Endomorphisms of stable continuous-trace C-algebras
We classify spectrum-preserving endomorphisms of stable continuoustrace C∗-algebras up to inner automorphism by a surjective multiplicative invariant taking values in finite dimensional vector bundles over the spectrum. Specializing to automorphisms, this gives a different approach to results of Phillips and Raeburn. 2000 Mathematics Subject Classification: 46L05, 46M20
متن کاملGroup Actions on Algebras and Module Categories
Let k be a field and A a finite dimensional (associative with 1) k-algebra. By modA we denote the category of finite dimensional left A-modules. In many important situations we may suppose that A is presented as a quiver with relations (Q, I) (e.g. if k is algebraically closed, then A is Morita equivalent to kQ/I). We recall that if A is presented by (Q, I), then Q is a finite quiver and I is a...
متن کاملModule-Amenability on Module Extension Banach Algebras
Let $A$ be a Banach algebra and $E$ be a Banach $A$-bimodule then $S = A oplus E$, the $l^1$-direct sum of $A$ and $E$ becomes a module extension Banach algebra when equipped with the algebras product $(a,x).(a^prime,x^prime)= (aa^prime, a.x^prime+ x.a^prime)$. In this paper, we investigate $triangle$-amenability for these Banach algebras and we show that for discrete inverse semigroup $S$ with...
متن کاملA Suspension Theorem for Continuous Trace C # -Algebras
Let B be a stable continuous trace C*-algebra with spectrum Y . We prove that the natural suspension map S, : [Co(X), B ] -+ [Co(X)@ Co(R), B @ Co(R)] is a bijection, provided that both X and Y are locally compact connected spaces whose one-point compactifications have the homotopy type of a finite CW-complex and X is noncompact. This is used to compute the second homotopy group of 9 in terms o...
متن کاملOn module extension Banach algebras
Let $A$ be a Banach algebra and $X$ be a Banach $A$-bimodule. Then ${mathcal{S}}=A oplus X$, the $l^1$-direct sum of $A$ and $X$ becomes a module extension Banach algebra when equipped with the algebra product $(a,x).(a',x')=(aa',ax'+xa').$ In this paper, we investigate biflatness and biprojectivity for these Banach algebras. We also discuss on automatic continuity of derivations on ${mathcal{S...
